First things First:

  1. The best way to make money regardless of whether you’re offline or online, is to become rich in ideas, because let’s face it — there are countless ideas and countless ways to make money online and offline.
  2. Nobody will give you money unless you give them something they want — something they think is valuable to them.
  3. People give you money because you’ve given them something they want — not something they need.
  4. People will give you money because they think what you’re giving them is more valuable than the money they’re paying you. If they suspect even for a moment that what you’re giving them is of less value than their money, they’ll just move on, buy it elsewhere, or get the service elsewhere.
  5. People buy something because of the impression you’ve put in their minds. In other words, they’ve been impressed by you.
  6. People don’t buy because they love you. Humans are selfish. Human nature is what it is. When selling on the internet, never appeal to love or honesty. Always appeal to base desires such as greed, fear, sex, and jealousy. These are the prime movers. They are the psychological triggers you’ll need to ignite. That’s all I’m going to say about psychology, because that’s all you need to know.

Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let’s look at some ways you can make some quick money online.

The easiest way to make money online is to find people who are ready to buy. Ready buyers speak a common language. They say things like “Where can I buy the latest iPhone?”, or “Is the Balconette Mesh Bra sexy?”, or “Who has tried Java coffee?”

Such people are not hard to find. They’re found all over social media and Q & A forums like Quora. Quora is basically a question and answer forum. Answer a question or provide a solution and you’re on your way to making money. But do it in a smart way because Quora doesn’t like it when people use their platform to make money. Answer as many questions as possible in the topic you want. Answer simple questions and you’ll make a little money. Answer complex questions and you’ll earn good money. Period.

Although Quora is where you can make the initial contact, you can’t sell goods and services directly. This is for obvious reasons. Quora, or any other social platform doesn’t want you to make a profit out of a service they provide you for free. You must at least be smart. You have to find a way to lead people away from the platform, maybe to your own blog or website, and then sell them there.

Most of the times, you don’t have to provide a solution yourself. If you don’t know how to solve a problem, you can always hire someone who does, and then you split the profits.

By now you’ve realized that you need at least some skills to solve people’s problems. The higher the skill, the higher the pay.

Enough with Quora. There are a myriad other platforms you can use to make money online, including Facebook groups, Reddit, and numerous other platforms. In fact, if you want to find out what kind of problems people have, just spend more time in forums. Basically, there are forums in just about every topic under the sun.

Quick tip: You can find the people with problems in these platforms, and also sell your goods or services in the same platforms. Otherwise how do you suppose you’ll contact these people? These could be your potential buyers.

That being the case, there are certain skills you need to have, in order to succeed online.

Communication Skills

As in the real world, communication is one of the most value skill when it comes to attracting money.

That means, money will always flow towards the best communicator. That’s no secret. Since ancient times, good communicators always found favor among people, compared to their peers, and always got the best things in life — money, wealth, comfort, and happiness.

Internet Marketing Skills

The Internet has evolved into a highly competitive environment. Millions of people are flocking to the Internet to try out their luck, with nearly everyone losing their traditional jobs and the job market shifting to the home environment due to fears sparked by the global pandemic.

As such, the Internet has become a competition arena for skills. Employers are not even looking at your CV these days. They’re looking at your portfolio of what you’ve done, how you’ve done it, and for whom you’ve done it. In fact, employers and customers are no longer interested in your college degree, or where you got it from. They’re interested to see the proof of what you can do.

For this reason, Internet Marketing skills are highly valuable, whether you need an online job or online gig, whether you want to sell your product online, or other people’s products or services, or whether you want to get ahead of the competition.

Copywriting Skills

Copywriting simply means persuasion in print, which means the art and science of persuading strangers anonymously to take action without ever meeting them in person. Do not confuse copywriting with copyrighting. The later has something to do with legal rights, while the former is the art of persuasion.

All those Ads that pop out when you do a Google search, or when scrolling through posts on Facebook, or scrolling pictures on TikTok or Instagram, are well-crafted copywritten material, designed to get you to take action with a view to get out your wallet and buy something.

Who do you think does it? Experienced copywriters can earn upwards of $50,000 per single sales copy.

Yes, you read that right! Think about that for a moment.

Selling

Now, you can do all these things, but if you don’t have selling skills, you’re as good as broke.

Selling is what closes the deal, and you can close a deal as small as selling cookies to as enormous a deal as selling ships. Selling is closely related to communication, marketing, human psychology, and negotiation — topics that warrant a different discussion. You can comment below if you want me to discuss these in future.

However, the only thing you need to know is that if you know how to sell whether online or offline, you cannot sleep hungry.

Now that you know what’s important I’ll show you a few things you can do to earn at least $50 per day or more online.

1. Surveys

Certainly, you can’t get rich by taking surveys, but there are ways to earn decent income through taking surveys.

For example, you can outsource surveys for pennies from websites like Picoworkers or Microworkers, and make a decent amount of cash daily. This is what the big boys are doing every day, but they won’t tell you.

Surveys can pay you between $2 and $50 per survey and you can also earn bonuses ranging from $2 to $10 for a single sign up.

You’ll find a comprehensive list of surveys somewhere in the comments.

2. Writing

Writing is akin to what I’m doing right now. I’m answering a question and at the same time I’m writing an article.

If I ever go broke, I would just visit one of these online writing websites, apply to join and if approved, write and submit a good article, and wait for my payment through PayPal, Stripe, or any other payment system I prefer. The pay would range anywhere between $50 per article to $3,000.

1. Transitions Abroad — ($150 per post)

2. Wanderlust — (£220 per post)

3. Great Escape Publishing — ($50 to $200 per post)

4. Alaska Airlines Magazine — ($150 to $700 per post)

5. Travel + Leisure Magazine — $1 per word (Imagine writing an article of 1000 words)

6. Vibrant Life — ($100-$300 per post)

7. Guideposts — ($250 per post)

8. Chicken Soup for the Soul — ($200 per post)

9. Power for Living — ($125 to $375 per post)

10.Clarkesworld — ($500 to $1,380 per post)

The websites range from Travel, Politics, and Jokes, to Fashion, to Health, to Special topics, to General topics.

If you want a comprehensive list of these websites, find a link in the footnotes of this article.[1]

3. Publishing

Online publishing is actually a multi-million dollar industry. The reason there’s a huge demand for books is that people will never stop reading reading when they’re bored, whiling away, or just curious about something.

People are always seeking to learn more, know more, and pump their brains with more information. They think there’s a hidden secret in books about whatever topic they’re interested in, so they’ll keep reading until they find it. Even if you write a book about a certain hot topic, they’ll make sure they read all your books.

Case in point:

My favourite example is J.K. Rowling, author of the popular “Harry Potter” series. Rowling’s biography has been described as a “rags to riches” story, with her rising from poverty to being declared the world’s first billionaire author by Forbes.

From working as a secretary at Amnesty International, Chamber of Commerce, and a teacher of foreign languages in Portugal, Rowling struggled as a single mom, suffered a miscarriage and domestic violence during her 3-year troubled marriage, to becoming one of the most successful writers in modern history.

You don’t have to be a Rowling to publish a book on Amazon Kindle, and Amazon Kindle is not the only game in town. You can write an eBook within a day and publish it the same day on Amazon Kindle and a dozen other bookstores on the Internet such as:

  1. CreateSpace
  2. iBooks
  3. Barnes & Noble Press
  4. Kobo
  5. IngramSpark
  6. Smashwords
  7. Draft2Digital
  8. Lulu
  9. Bookbaby
  10. Payhip
  11. Gumroad

These platforms may not do the marketing for you like Amazon Kindle would, but that’s where your Internet Marketing skills come in handy.

4. NFT’s and Digital Art

NFT’s (Non-fungible tokens), are a type of technology that allows us to verify and identify ownership of a single digital property. When someone hears about NFT’s for the first time, the most typical question is “what they are and how they are used.”

A non-fungible token (NFT) is a unique, non-transferable data unit kept on a blockchain, which is a type of digital ledger. NFTs can be linked to digital assets that can be reproduced, such as images, movies, and audio. NFTs use a digital ledger to offer a public certificate of authenticity or proof of ownership, but they leave the underlying digital files open to sharing and copying.

NFTs are distinguished from blockchain cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin by their lack of interchangeability (fungibility).

Digital assets such as art, collectibles, music, gaming, sports, and other digital assets are only a few examples.

3 Ways to Make Money with NFTs

By Creating NFTs

If you’re creative and can use digital art software like Adobe, Affinity Photo, or Corel Painter, there’s nothing to stop you from creating a piece of art and start selling it online.

You can do the same with music, memes, images, video games, and software. There are numerous online auction houses you can list your work and start earning thousands of dollars.

The most famous application of NFT made the news on March 11, 2021 when a digital image by an artist known as Beeple, sold for $ 69.3 million at Christie’s.

This is also the highest amount ever paid for digital artwork to-date.

Digital artist Mike Winkelmann, also known as Beeple, created the project named “Everydays: The First 5000 Days.” The NFT is a collage of 5000 tokenized images that Beeple created every day over a period of years.

Licensed Collectibles

The most natural and obvious use of the Non-Fungible Token technology appears to be tokenizing valuables.

Brands which previously only sold physical collectibles such as trading cards can now sell the same thing digitally. The price of a digital trading card might be substantially higher than the price of its physical counterpart due to the demonstrable rarity of NFTs.

NFT Video Games

Video games built on NFT technology could very well be the future of NFT technology. So far, none of the games that use Non-Fungible Tokens have been widely popular, but the potential for using NFTs in video games appears to be enormous.

Gamers are known to spend a lot of money on virtual products. All of these markets, whether it’s World of Warcraft gold, Call of Duty loot boxes, or Counter-Strike skins, are already worth billions. If a large video game business decides to offer in-game things as NFTs, it will have a huge influence on both the gaming and blockchain ecosystems.

5. Affiliate Marketing

This is perhaps, the method that you’ve heard about the most, and one of the most touted method online.

However, by far, the quickest and easiest way to make money online is Affiliate Marketing.

Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing method in which a person or company pays one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer they bring, through their own marketing efforts.

The visitor, also known as a lead, may sometimes not even end up buying anything, but you can still get paid if you promote a Cost per Action or Cost per Acquisition offer (CPA).

In another article, I’ll discuss in more detail about CPA Marketing because it is easier to make money with than traditional affiliate marketing. In fact, you don’t need to sell anything. You only need to display a product offer or service in front of a hungry crowd and voilà.

I could have discussed many, more ways to make $30–$50 per day online, but I don’t want this article be too long and too boring…

2022 is here. Do you really want to learn how to make serious money online? Make this your year.
