Making money online is only hard because you make it hard and don’t have a real plan.

Stop just shooting in the dark and use this plan to start making money online.

1 Choose your niche

Choose your niche as to what product or service you want to sell. Then choose your niche as to who you’re going to sell to.

As a freelancer, I sell services. But I can’t just be vague and sell social media marketing services. I have to specify which social platform I provide help for and how.

Then I had to decide on who I wanted to sell my services to. These are the people I enjoy working with. So looking at who I naturally enjoy talking to, I decided to help female coaches.

2. Decide your platforms

Platforms to provide the service and product. Then the platform that you’re going to market your product.

As a freelancer, I sell my services via a freelance platform called People Per Hour. On this platform, I create a profile and how people can work with me.

But to get customers to my platform, I have to drive them over to People Per Hour through social media.

I use social media by being on the platform that I love to be on and that my ideal clients are on to. Then instead of chasing clients, I create content that answers my ideal client’s problems.

To help to identify what content to produce, there is research done.

Check out this blog to get content ideas for social media that I use to attract clients.

There you have the 2 steps to start making money online. It’s not that hard, is it?

In A Nutshell,

You don’t need to have a large following to start making money online. All you need is a plan. A plan for

  • What you’re going to sell
  • How you’re going to sell
  • Who you’re going to sell to
  • Attract clients on social media (and not chase them)
